J-Hope, A Dance Addict

Jung Ho Seok, who is more famous as J-Hope. He is the rapper and the main dancer in BTS. He is the notable for large production of rhythm for discography songs.

Prior his trainee period, he was already renowned skillful dancer in local. His enthusiasm for dancing motivated him to the ambition of being an idol. There was an unproven story that supported how much he was addicted to dancing. It was said that at the BigHit national casting in Gwangju, J-Hope’s hometown, he was required to show his freestyle dancing ability. As soon as the music was played, he astonished all the judges by the choreography far beyond his age. What’s more impressive was that he kept dancing continuously for two hours. He doubtlessly passed the casting and became the third person to enter BigHit Entertainment.

At first, he was a vocalist in BTS. However, member V, who was assigned to be a rapper, had a strong desire of being a vocalist. Therefore, J-Hope volunteered to switch with him. After becoming a rapper, he tried to compose songs and write lyrics, but it struggled. Under the helping of RM and Suga, who were both underground band rappers and song producers, he started get familiar with the mystery of songwrting. Now, he was the person who had the second most copyrights of songs in BTS.

Mean while, he was the main dancer in BTS. He was responsible for stage performances and choreography. After each concert, he would gather all the members and revised that day’s performance. Moreover, he would analysed each member’s condition and energy usage. He had strict standard for all the stage, no matter how many people attended the concert.
