To begin talking about Jimin. I would like to describe what of kind person he is.
He is a extremely warm-hearted person. He takes great care of members even those who are elder than him. During variety show, people can see him always helping members when they needs. He never forgets to celebrate their birthdays. He consoles members when they suffer greatly.
However, he is much more than this.
Among the main vocals in BTS, Jimin was considered to be the most har-working. He was only trained as a trainee for a year, which is also the shortest BTS. In such a limited time, he must caught up with other trainees who had already been trained for three years to reach the qualifications to pass monthly exams. After experiencing a warning that may end his trainee life, he devoted all of his effort practicing in order to gain a chance to debut. He slept for only three hours a day and spent most of his time at the company practicing.
Although he has successfully debuted, he wasn’t satisfied with his performance. One day, while looking at the mirror, and ideas of losing weight popped into his mind. He then put himself on an extreme diet. He ate nothing for ten days when preparing for a comeback. It was hard to imagine how was it like due to the intense choreography they had. He danced and sang for eighteen hours a day without eating anything but drink water.
Even though he is known for his high notes and outstanding singing skills, member Jungkook once shared a story. Before debut, Jimin was the one that always got the lowest score in singing among all the nineteen trainees. The ambivalence between doubting himself about the choice of becoming an idol and the intense desire of performing on stage was torturing him. However, he overcame the thought of giving up and concentrated himself on practicing. During an interview their manager said that Jimin was the only members who presented unbelievably rapid improvement.
BTS is now one of the most well-known pop artist around the world; yet, happy and simple life is still not a option for Jimin. He often gets death threats with specific location and time on them. Also, in Korea, there are many insane fans. They want to get close members, have intimate relationship with them or even touch their bodies. Those fans would secretly follow members when they go out. Sometimes BTS are on their rare vacation, they still have to be aware of those insane people who may long to hug them or kiss them. Being the most famous member of BTS, the number of his crazy fans are uncountable.
