Their Blood, Sweat, and Tears

Every year, hundreds of bands debut in Korea. 2% of Korean population are trainees. It takes not only efforts to debut, but also time and opportunity. After they debut, the nightmare isn’t over yet. Hundreds of group are competing for the chance to become the hottest among every other. In such a high-pressured circumstance, why BTS is the one that shines?

There are three biggest company in Korea, which are JYP, SM and YG Entertainment. It is really hard for idols to succeed if the band isn’t formed by these three company. Group like, Girl’s Generation, Twice and Bigbang are all from the three biggest entertainment. However, differ from other famous idols, BTS is from by BigHit Entertainment, which is a  extremely small company. There were no more than fifty workers in the company when they debuted.  That’s why they are called legend or miracle. In 2013, there were approximately 130 group that debuted. BTS is the only band that survived. Lacking of sponsors and sources, they had to do something different that made them stand out.

Their first fan meeting which took place in a park had only 53 fans. Six years later, they had their own concert in auditoriums that can contain more than sixty thousand people. They performed on Billboard and won numerous awards. Though the hard time had passed, no one would understand how much efforts they made to exchange a chance to tell the world how they are.

The First Fan Meeting

Seven members can jump to the same height. Everyone can do the exact same movement, even the angles between two legs are the same. Even though they are well known now, every BTS members still spend 16 hours dancing per day. They produce their own songs and write their own lyrics.

Their success isn’t by chance. Some people may say they are popular because they are lucky. I don’t agree with this. Effort is what makes them so special. They suffered, struggled and were lost before, but they always try their best and never give up.
